over all reflection
Knowledge Tool Box: I found all the information on wikipedia (Tim Allen) and google.com ( John Newton). I then put the most of the info into a quick speech for the night. The connection is that they both had ruff middle ages but after a big scare they were able to turn they’re life around.
Roberts Reflection
I think that in this knowledge tool box reflection part i deserve brobably a B- because i think that i didnt really conect my piece about Tim Allen with the cicil war or the past at all. The reason is didnt really conect Tim Allen with anything from the past like the civil war was because i thought that he really had nothing to do witht the civil war and also another really good reson i thought was because i dint think he was alive during the civil war because he is alive today.
I thnk that i at lest deserve a A for presentattion/ professionalism becuase i had to do that presentation with out my partner an i got up there by myself witch i think took alot of guts. I also ended up making another spoken word piee with my extra time to get some extra credit. I also think i deserve a A in that part because i spent alot of time working on that spoken word piece and it took me a while to come up witht the lyrics. So think that i at least deserve a A for effort and for working hard.
I dont really think that i did very well in the polished work porchen part because i think that alot of my spelling could have been of becuase the most i made was probrably 2 drafts and i dint really work on my spelling and i think that during the actual spoken word thing in grage band i think that i may have messed up a couple of works i either spelled them wrong or i pronounsed them wrong so in this catagorie i think that i deserve a B- because like i said i think that i messed up a couple of times.

100 word
The three dimensional art work represents the two places that our people (Tim Allen and John Newton ) became resilient. The boat and the wave represents the storm that made John Newton realize that there was a much more powerful force. A force that he couldn’t control after that he then quit the slave trade. The bars on the boat represent the prison that Tim Allen went to after being cot with one and four tenths of cocaine. Then when he got out of the prison he became a family comedian and quit the drugs. That is how my art represents Tim allen and John Netton.

Tim Allen poem
TIM ALLEN SONG
BY ROBERT MANGO
I used to be on drugs, and that was really bad,
When I was eleven my father died in a car crash and that made me really sad
I went to prision did my time for bringing 1.4 pounds of cocaine onto the plane
I made some bad disions but my worst was probably cocaine
I was part of the dirty dozen
Made some bad jokes about my cousin
After I did time I learned that dirty jokes and drugs was no the way to go in life
Now I enjoy the spice of life
I part of this really popular t.v. show
I was the star till we had to go
I Stared in a movie with a bunch of little kids
And I was stuck there
Im getting older now and losing my hair
But as long as im clean
I will be happy and not mean

the desigh for my art is a boat with a jail cell that is on fire with a huge wave about to destroy the places the were where our people became resilient.

Tim Allen quote
“Women now have choices. They can be married, not married, have a job, not have a job, be married with children, unmarried with children. Men have the same choice we've always had: work or prison.”
I chose this quote becasue i have heard him say it on tv alot and it stood out to me.

John Newton quote
“If the Lord be with us, we have no cause of fear. His eye is upon us, His arm over us, His ear open to our prayer--His grace sufficient, His promises unchangeable.”
this is after he wasa a changed man trieing to turn other people to good people.
